Insert for Kutna Hora Boardgame

This is an insert for the boardgame Kutna Hora by CGE.

The insert holds all components.

You will need to print multiples of the following:
- build_holder_p: 4 times
- build_holder_g: 6 times
- player_tray: 4 times

I put self-adhesive felt under the build_holders, St Barbara-Tray and Slider-Tray since these are sitting on top of gameboards and/or playmats and I did not want anything damaged from the bottom of the 3D prints.

The card tray holds sleeved cards as you can see in the pictures. I used 63.5 x 88 (Mayday Premium) sleeves for that. The ressource cards are not sleeved (which I hate) because they wouldnt fit in the trays otherwise. I needed the sliders from the trays removed to make the storage work. Its not ideal, but I didnt see another way to make this insert reasonable any other way.

When the gameboard sits on top of the St Barbara and Slider Trays, it keeps them save. I shook the box, put it upside down and everything stays in place. On one side of the mainboards I put some foam-insert I have from Feldherr Inserts for miniatures games. You could print a placeholder there, to stop the boards from moving, but I did not want to print just a block of filament to do that.

This took me days of planing, calculating and printing and is one of my most complex designs yet. Halfway through I thought I would never be able to make this work.
