Shadow Hunters is a game my extended family will often play during family reunions. Since we have the expansion, we have more than 20 characters and often play with more than the recommended number of players. We'd use odd pieces of anything around the house.
Another problem is that, unfortunately, the game is no longer manufactured, and extra copies of the game are being sold for $200-$300.
So I solved both problems and made the player pieces myself! And I printed them in 12 different colors, so there would be enough for later (yellow color not seen in pictures).
If you use card sleeves, blank 2.5"x3.5" cards, and an ink printer, you can easily make your own copy for about $20-30 per set. See my GitHub link below for more details.
Note the pictures above, how extra detail can be added by changing the top color. This was added for the following reasons:
- Nicer look
- Increased readability of the logo
- helps save on using all the extra colors. This can allow for one to buy a sample pack of colors for this print and use some other base color for the bulk of the print. Or to just add more variety.
Heed proper licensing agreements; don't do this for profit. I just made this to allow people like me who want to play the old game but don't want to pay $200-$300 for an old copy of the game from someone's basement.
The pictures and instructions for how to do this can be found at this link: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2207510807/4625714282762283403/

I would love to learn how to “print” the box for this in either cardboard or 3D print for cheap. I would welcome any advice on the subject.
It seems the original box's dimensions were 12" x 9" x 1.1".
Best version so far that I have seen (💲💲💲):
- Have it custom-made here ($25 for 1, $65 for 5, etc) at dimensions 12" x 9" x 2"
Best DIY version so far that I have seen (💲):
- Buy a set of white shipping boxes here ($12 for 5) at dimension of 12" x 9" x 2"
- Requires printing the details of the box at your local print store.
