Carcassonne Foldable Tower - Simple - Medium

Folded Tower

This is my first model with hinges and a locking pin! It only took 10 revisions and even more test prints to get it just the way I wanted it.

I've gotten into Carcassonne and it's been a blast! I stumbled upon a carboard Tower for the tiles, which was flimsy and not that satisfying, so after looking for a cool foldable one (which I couldn't find), I decided to make one.

If you're looking for a larger tower, check out: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3346847-carcassonne-foldable-tile-tower-detailed-large

A few notes:

• The windows are there to help ease the tiles in.
• The print orientation is set so the outer wall gets patterned (I used a Textured plate)
• Ironing is optional, but look cool!
• When folding it you will meet some resistance since I used 90* angles to improve stability a tad. (the corner appears round when correct)
• You can optionally print a locking pin with a flag, I prefer that one.
• There is an intended way to fold the tower, so the “gate” helps tiles slide easier. (look for rounded corners and a little resistance)

Happy printing & hope you get the tiles you want!
Boost Me Hey! If you want to support me, these points will go to getting a levitation kit thingy, I have some cool ideas I want to try with one and it does seem like magic!
