Armory for Scythe
This is the fourth and final building for the board game, Scythe. When I first printed the completed model, the edges of the roof curled up slightly, making a pagoda-like effect. This wasn't necessarily bad, but it also wasn't really what I wanted (at least, not for all of the non-Togawa factions...).
So, I made a version with that little roof split off as a separate piece, with a trapezoidal key to make it easy to put in place after it's printed. In fact, I think that I like the split one better regardless, just because it should be easier to paint. The Armory on the left in my photo with the two of them is the one that was printed with that roof in place.
This was done at .1mm layer heights with a .4 mm nozzle. The roof and guns are pushing what can be done with a .4 mm nozzle, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
*7/13 Update:* I enlarged the central structure by 1.6 mm so that it would be more visible under the roof's overhang.
I've posted a small gallery of photos of my scythe upgrades onto my blog at http://objectforge.blogspot.com/p/scythe-upgrades.html, so feel free to check it out if you're interested!
If you don't want to print this yourself, it may be available from one of my 3D Printing Partners listed at https://objectforge.blogspot.com/p/3d-printing-partners.html!
