The two-colour design gives them a raised, treasure-like appearance while keeping the print simple. Only one filament change is needed to create the contrasting skull and border.

These pirate coins are primarily designed as resource tokens for board games and tabletop games, but they can also be used as generic game currency, loot tokens, treasure markers or player resources. They fit particularly well in pirate, nautical and adventure-themed games, and can also be used in D&D and other TTRPGs as treasure, loot or currency. They can even work as small decorative pieces for pirate-themed dioramas and miniature scenes.
The example was printed with a matte dark brown base and gold details, giving the coins an aged treasure look. Try gold and black, silver and dark grey, or different colours to represent different resources or players.
