Designer's Description

I made these little barrels as simple, useful props for tabletop games. They are small enough to use as resource tokens, but still have enough detail to look at home in a miniature scene.

Each barrel is 17 mm tall and prints without supports. The version shown uses brown for the wood and grey for the metal bands, with just 6 filament changes. I kept the barrel fairly chunky on purpose. At this size, I find that a simple shape with clear details works much better than trying to squeeze in tiny details that disappear after printing.

These work well as resource tokens in board games, especially for things like mead, ale, water, food, supplies, trade goods or storage. They can also be used as scatter terrain for D&D, RPGs and TTRPGs, or as little props for a tavern, medieval market, Viking settlement, warehouse or shop.

They could also be useful for dioramas, miniature villages, fantasy scenes, docks, ships, farms, castles, taverns, kitchens, cellars, trading posts and dollhouses. Or just put a few around your existing terrain to make a scene look a bit more lived in.
