Avalon: The Riven Veil Insert

It is done! After weeks of work, the insert for the amazing Avalon: The Riven Veil is finally finished. With this insert, you can fit the entire All-In pledge directly into the core box.

It offers several options. If you like the original card trays, you can continue to use them with this insert, though I would advise against vertical storage if you do. Otherwise, I have designed colored trays that also include compartments for the smaller cards. Everything is designed to speed up the setup process.

Additionally, the insert features artworks for the faction trays. The artwork on the lids is extruded by 0.1mm so it can be colored in the Bambu software while still printing well. For the best details here, I highly recommend printing the lids with a 0.2mm nozzle, but a standard 0.4mm nozzle works fine too. I have attached a few comparison pictures to help you decide.

The insert comes fully pre-configured as a .3mf file for Bambu printers. So you can simply load it up and hit print. It might not work properly with other slicers—if that's the case, just let me know and I will provide the files individually. The full print uses 2.5 kg of filament, so it is definitely not a lightweight. However, if you leave out the baseplate and the card trays, the filament usage drops to 1.7 kg.

The two top trays holding the boards are reused. The whole design utilizes a baseplate so you can easily see what goes where and to prevent things from sliding around. If you print the baseplate, there will be a minor lid lift of about 1-2mm. If you also put the hardcover rulebook inside, it will add a few more millimeters.

Unfortunately, I haven't received the sleeves I ordered yet, but sleeved cards were fully taken into account during the design process. If anything doesn't fit quite right or if you run into any issues, please feel free to reach out to me!
