Luthier - Retail Box + Promos + Deluxe Addons Sleeved Insert

EDIT: 7.9.2026: Due to some reports of production variances and meeple thickness etc - I am uploading today a modified version of the Player Board that went from a 6.2mm deep well to a 10mm deep well for the Hammers and Melody tokens as well as a slightly modified Market Meeple to hopefully assist with fit issues some are having.

I purposely purchased the retail edition of Luthier because I noticed the box was slimmer and took up less volume than the deluxe version. I knew that upon receiving would design an insert that the game deserves. This is currently one of my favorite designs I have done yet.

Print in .20 layer height - especially the dividers. You do not need an AMS as you can just tell your slicer to pause the print job of the dividers after the first layer, then load a new color in. The same goes for the "Luthier" logos on the player boards and the player aid tray as the logo is raised. You can add a pause or a color swap at those higher layers.

If you don't have any of the premium addons like the metal coins or inspiration, your player aid tray will be empty, but if you do have those you can store your cardboard bits in here too to keep it all together. I currently only own the metal coins and metal inspiration. I did not opt for the premium resources but there is plenty of room and they should fit.

I can't promise that if they make a future expansion that I will be able to fit it in here, but I can tell you that there is a lot of space that I could re-configure and possibly might work on a modification to this if I think it's feasible.

I went ahead and split the resource tray as an option if it is too big for your printer. I was able to print mine on my X1C by having it angled at 45 degrees in one piece.

This is pretty self-explanatory, just check the photos for how it all fits in the box. I look forward to designing more inserts as time goes on. I am always learning new techniques and getting more competent in my design aesthetic.
