City of Iron 2nd Edition Themed Insert

This is a premium, highly customized insert for City of Iron (2nd Edition) designed to speed up setup, enhance gameplay, and look beautiful inside the box.

The structural base of this insert was created using the excellent generator by Counterslayer . However, I heavily modified the design to match the game's aesthetic by adding custom steampunk embellishments, text labels, embossed/debossed faction logos, and custom-fit box spacers.

• Table-Ready Trays: The trays for Coins, Science tokens, and Steambots can be taken directly out of the box and placed onto the table as an organized general supply.

• Active Display Tray: The building card tray is designed to be placed directly on the table to hold the card supply during the game.

• Faction-Themed Design: Card and token trays feature beautifully detailed faction logos and color-coded accents for immersive thematic flair and lightning-fast player setup.

• Easy Component Retrieval: All token trays feature smooth, rounded internal bottom edges, making it incredibly easy to slide pieces out.

• Sleeved Card Friendly: All card trays offer ample space to perfectly accommodate premium sleeved cards.

• Vertical Storage & Zero Lid Lift: Designed to match the exact internal height of the game box. Components stay securely in place with absolutely zero lid lift , even when stored vertically.

• No Shifting: Custom-designed spacers are included to prevent the main game board and player boards from sliding around inside the box.

• 3MF File Included: I have provided a pre-configured .3mf file with optimized multi-color layouts and print orientations, so you can just open it and print with minimal slicing effort!

• Filaments Used in Photos:
• Main structures & textures: Sunlu PLA Black and Geetech Silk PLA Bronze for that perfect steampunk/industrial aesthetic.

• Player elements: Accents, borders, and logos printed in the respective colors of each faction.

• Nozzle Compatibility: The prototype shown in the photos was printed using a 0.6mm nozzle for testing. However, this model prints perfectly fine (and will look even sharper and more detailed) with a standard 0.4mm nozzle .

Note: The first two photos in the gallery are edited with AI Tools - sadly i don´t own such a nice steampunk desk to take photos on. Only the background and lighting was modified, the printed items look as on the real photo as you can see on the other unedited photos.
