Trieste box replacement and organizer
Please support ljhms by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
This box replaces the standard “pizza box” that comes with the game and also serves as an organizer to separate the four decks of the game. The lid snaps in place and fits inside the original box sleeve.
This fits the rulebook as well as sleeved cards (using FFG Standard sleeves in my case), although the coin cards could use slightly more room in the vertical direction. Try experimenting with decreasing the variable box_floor_thickness if you want to remix this. Note that setting it too low will cause the CMP_PEDESTAL_BASE_B directive to be ignored, which makes it slightly less convenient to get the cards out of the card wells. You could also try decreasing rulebook_allowance somewhat, which will raise the walls of the compartments, at the expense of the room for the rulebook.
Created using The Boardgame Insert Toolkit (version: 70875ac88118d679b6d47f561928cf5c7e349ee1 ). I uploaded the library file here for convenience.
I never liked the "pizza box" that comes with this game, so I decided to make a drop-in replacement that fits with the original box sleeve. It fits the rulebook and sleeved cards, and separates the four decks (three player decks+money) into individual compartments. , which really simplified the project and saved me from having to figure out how to designing a snap-on lid.
