Before you print
Fits sleeved cards
Fits premium sleeves

I like storage that:

- Protects components when in storage, whether laying down or standing up;

- Fits cards sleeved with premium sleeves;

- Does not introduce lid lift;

- Speeds up set up, (I am not so worried about tear down because I am revelling in the game);

- Assists game play with trays that can go into spaces on the board; and,

- Has a spot for everything so that I can see if I am missing a component when I pack it up;

So, I came up with this:

This insert is compatible with the CUBA LIBRE 4th printing, the original insert and cards sleeved with Arcane Tinmen standard matte sleeves.

It may be compatible with other printings and other sleeves, please let me know!

Under the board, rules, play booklet and player aid sheets sits the first layer.

The top section has the Start Tray and the cards. (There should be room for the Calixto Bot, but I have not tried it).

The Start Tray has the player pieces and counters for the perimeter track and sequence of play display and US Alliance areas on the board. The Start Tray also contains the deception counters if you are playing with the Deception Variant. Once set up this tray can be set to the side, you will not need it until you are packing away.

The bottom section has the Play Tray. The play tray also contains the Insurgent Capabilities tray. Place the Insurgent Capabilities Tray in the Insurgent Capabilities area on the board.

The Play Tray has a place for every counter. You are going to be accessing these all game, so there is also an easy access tray for each type of counter for fast access during the game. The Play Tray is designed to sit next to the board. As the number of counters is not detrimental to game play, you can even leave the counters in the easy access tray when you put them away.

On the second layer, there is the Action Tray in the top section and the faction trays in the bottom section. There is also more room under the Action Tray which can house more cards.

The Action Tray holds the dice and pawns to assist in play. The Action Tray is designed to sit next to the board.

The Faction Trays hold the faction specific pieces that go directly into the faction specific areas on the board.

Finally, we have a spacer in the top section that holds things in place, and a spacer in the bottom section. The bottom section spacer has a spot for every Faction Tray, and a spot to lift the tray in and out of the box.

Print one of each component plus a second insurgent tray, I used 0.4 line width with 0.2 layer height, wall line count 3, top layers 5, bottom layer 3. No supports. 15% infill. Fill your trays, put any extra pieces under the original cardboard divider and you are ready to go!

Let me know if it works for you.
