Finspan with Sharks and Reefs : Storage Solution
Please support shayne by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
First there was Finspan, then there was the Sharks and Reefs expansion.
I created this model because there was a remix of my previous design that did not support premium sleeves.
This is an unofficial storage solution for Finspan with Sharks and Reefs, allowing for premium sleeves and resources. This is a model redesign to allow for the Sharks and Reefs expansion to fit into the Finspan box.
I started with a setup tray (Finspan+SR SetupTray.stl) that houses;
•
The starting cards, the expansion starting cards and player guides;
•
The round maker;
•
The nautoma cards and expansion nautoma cards;
•
The divers;
•
The achievement tiles and the expansion achievement tiles;
The first player maker goes over the divers and the setup tray fits into the game box with the card tray to the left and the overlay boards.
If you have the card tray from the first design you do not need to reprint it. The new design allows for more card storage. (SRCardTray.stl)
The card trays have room for premium sleeves, I used Gamegenic.
Next we have the score pads over the divers, a card and chit tray (SRCardChitTray) and a resource traySRResourceTrayx2). The chit tray does not hold all the resource chits, but enough egg and young chits for those who prefer the chits over deluxe resources.
Next we have the replacement achievement board and player aid in the setup tray, and a second resource tray to that you the resources can be accessed at different places on the table.
One packet of deluxe resources and one packet of additional schools fit in two recourse trays.
Finally we have the expansion rules and base game rules placed to the right where the insert is 2mm lower than the left.
This insert was designed to meet my specific requirements.
I hope you can get some benefit out of it too.
If it works for you, let me know.
