Pacru Ltd was formed in 2002 with shareholders Mike Wellman (who designed the game) Alan Wills (who wrote the software used to play Pacru on the website and Pelle Astrom who built a series of prototype boards. The Pacru 101 set was published in 2004 and Pacru 302 set in 2005 in English and German editions.
