has developed and edited over 500 games in the last 25 years. Currently, Devir is recognized as the largest publisher of modern games in Spanish, Portuguese, and Catalan. Its extensive catalog includes over 600 active board games, featuring world-renowned titles such as Catan, Carcassonne, and War of the Ring. In addition to publishing international hits, Devir designs and develops its own original games, including successful titles like The White Castle, The Color Monster Game, and Rock Hard 1977. Games under the Devir Games brand are published in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, and Italian, and have been licensed in 30 other languages all around the world. Beyond publishing, Devir operates a solid international distribution network that reaches over 5,000 unique customers, ranging from local neighborhood game and bookshops to upscale department stores to major online retailers. The company’s influence is also reflected in its critical success, as its catalog boasts more than 30 winners of the prestigious Spiel des Jahres. Devir’s mission is to connect people through play, fostering social interaction, strategic thinking, and creativity. The company also has a strong educational and social commitment, demonstrated through initiatives like Devir Academy, which provides tools for teachers to use games as educational resources in the classroom. Devir was born from the courage of a few fans who left their careers as computer engineers to follow their hearts and share extraordinary stories with the world.
