La Vaca del Tablero was founded in 2019 by Daniel Arosteguy as a modern board game store before expanding into board game publishing in 2021. co-managed alongside game designer Seba Ramírez, with whom Daniel co-designed De Cero a CEO and published Escalas Musicales. Together, they also published Batalla de Coronas, designed by Puerto Montt–based designer Pedro Guajardo Cordescu. In 2024, Seba Ramírez transitioned to found his own publishing imprint,Eterna Games. However, both publishers continue to collaborate on joint initiatives to strengthen and promote the board gaming ecosystem in Southern Chile.
