Musician, avid gamer and game maker born in 1957 in Minneapolis Minnesota. Worked as a musician until 1997 (keyboards). Switched careers, moving to Dallas TX. Sears. Since then, Digital Eel has released over 20 computer, handheld, board, card and dice games, including the "Infinite Space" series of fast-playing space roguelikes. Rich Carlson retired in 2021.
