Karl Lange

Game Designer and Developer, and full time dad living in Melbourne, Australia. After finishing university in 2014, Karl stumbled across modern board games, and since then has thrown himself deep into the hobby. In addition to Designing and Developing, Karl was on the committee of the Tabletop Game Designers Australia (TGDA) - a NFP advocating and facilitating Australian tabletop game design development and commercialization in Australia - from 2016 to 2025 and remains an active member and avid supporter. He was a founding member of the GV Gamers Guild – a NFP running weekly meetups and an annual board game convention known as ShepparCon in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. Karl co-ran Incubator [ONLINE] digital playtest group and Incubator Melbourne physical playtest group in Melbourne Australia, and was a director of board game publishing and localization company Guf Studios, focusing on bringing games to the South East Asian, Australian, and NZ market. Most recently, Karl has been teaching an intensive 15 lesson Board Game Production course through ELVTR.
