won his first board game, "Guess Who?", as a Christmas present at school. That was when he realised the amazing world of such games. Soon enough, console games followed and, unavoidably, he drowned into the depths of these endless fantasy worlds; he became addicted. At the same time his artistic tallents in music, drawing & writing were rapidly developing, until one day he dived into the music industry for good, by entering the music university. Through the years of his studies, he came to realise that one of the best things he could do was to combine his talents and creativity with his passion for games. He made the mix and drunk this life elixir..! The board game designing journey began back in 2008, when during a dull evening, along with a friend of his, they decided to create a board game out of some old, spare components. The name of the game was "Forest's Curse" and it was such a unique and fun experience that soon, his desire to repeat the whole creative process brought a new idea to the table; and then again, and again... Yannis also participated in the Greek board game designing contests "Epitrapezio 2018" & "Epitrapezio 2019", taking the 7th place with the game "Rupiyah: A boy full of desires" and the 5th place with "Ancient Amulets" respectively, which made quite an impression and elicited very positive criticisms.
