Paul Richard "Rich" Banner is an award-winning game designer and graphic artist who along with Frank Chadwick and Marc Miller founded the game publishing company Game Designers' Workshop on June 22, 1973. War II. In 1979, he won the H. G. Wells Award for Best Historical Figure Series for his graphics for System 7 for Napoleonics miniatures. Banner was inducted into the Roberts Awards Hall of Fame (formally known as the Clausewitz Award Hall of Fame). Recipients have made an important contribution and left their mark on the contemporary hobby of military strategy games and simulations.
