Jost Amman (June 13, 1539 - March 17, 1591) was a Zurich-born Swiss artist known for his woodcuts. About 1,500 prints are attributed to him. He was one of the last major producers of woodcuts for books as engravings were gradually taking over this role. In 1560, he moved to Nürnberg, Germany, where he died in 1591. His artwork has been used for White Wolf's Vampire: TM rpg line.
