Sir Thomas Lawrence

Sir Thomas Lawrence (April 13, 1769 - January 7, 1830) was a leading English painter. His portrait of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, was used for the cards in the wargame Wellington: The Peninsular War 1812-1814 and appears to have helped inspire the box cover art.
