Ilya Repin

Ilya Yefimovich Repin (August 5, 1844 - September 29, 1930) was a leading Ukrainian-Russian artist of the Peredvizhniki artistic school. His best artwork is probably from the 19th century. Repin died in Finland in 1930. His 1896 portrait of Emperor Nicholas II was used as the cover artwork for the Strategy and Tactics version of the game Russian Civil War 1918-1922 (Second Edition).
