Sylvie Barc

For the next ten years or so, Sylvie took an interest in various areas of board games. She started out as a games librarian host, then decided to open up her games to adults too. With this in mind, she founded the Brocéliande role-playing and simulation club. She continues to contribute to various magazines such as Jeux et Stratégie, Casus Belli and Jeux Magazine. She created numerous role-playing games, advertising games and solitaire games, and took part in the development of Rêve de Dragon. She then moved into press editing, briefly holding the position of editor-in-chief of Info-Jeux, before turning to Chroniques d'Outre Monde. It was during this period that she founded LORIèN with Frédéric Leygonie. Philippe des Pallières joined them a year later. With the last publication of the magazine, LORIèN was abandoned. Sylvie decided to return to her first interest: board games. She published her own games under the name La Haute Roche between 2002 and 2020.
