his research for some revolutionary games. Many consider his "Magnum Opus" the pictorial aerial combat game, "Ace of Aces" (TM). He patented the system after 5 years of work to perfect it. The hard work paid off in the form of a enthusiastic reception by many military pilots as well as fans of the game. The game was also honored as a 1993 Origins Awards Product Hall of Fame Inductee. He also designed the "Lost Worlds" picture book fantasy combat games and contributed to the designs of many other titles. Alfred passed away in July of 2025.
