Dust" monthly Geeklist on BGG. She has pursued game design as a creative endeavor since 2013. She is a volunteer demoer at Spielbound Board Game Cafe and the Chairwoman of the Spielmasons, an Omaha area game designer collective. Her first design, Aguirre, was a finalist on Tabletop Deathmatch Season 2 and the Zenobia II competition. Aguirre can be played for free at Screentop.gg and is currently looking for a publisher. A second design, Students of Kung Fu, is available as a free print-and-play at BGG. Ann's design Goddesses was signed by a major publisher but was unable to be published before the contract expired due to the volatility of the publishing industry during Covid and she is currently seeking a new publisher. Her latest design, Cretaceous Rails, launched and successfully funded on Kickstarter in Fall 2023 by Spielcraft Games and fulfilled to backers and retailers in Summer 2025. Cretaceous Rails has enjoyed popular and critical success since its release, including an aggregate 9/10 from The Dice Tower. Ann is currently working on two new designs: Gregor MacGregor and the Greatest Con in History, a historical board game featuring an innovative tile-laying action selection mechanism, and The Travels of Sir John Mandeville, a historical/literary board game inspired by the forgotten travelogue that outsold The Travels of Marco Polo for 500 years.
