John W. Mollett

In 1883, two English men, Lewis Waterman and John W. Mollet, simultaneously claimed to have invented the reversi game, accusing each other of fraud. Reversi game became very popular in England in the late nineteenth century after controversial discussions between the two board game designers. But the complete and reliable version of Reversi was published on August 21, 1886 under the name The Saturday Review.
