I’ve got a particular set of skills Graphic DesignCreating evocative visuals for both real and fictional worlds: logos, layout, print, web, and motion design. Writing & Narrative DesignCommunicating clearly and efficiently for a variety of purposes: to explain, inspire, establish, and stir an audience. Project ManagementDelivering a project from concept to completion by breaking down a big vision into its component parts. Game Design & DevelopmentFinding fun and honing in on meaningful play, from playtesting and iteration to marketing, crowdfunding, and manufacturing. I take pride in my interdisciplinary background and experience. My strength as an artist and designer is my ability to let the story lead the way. I love taking a seed of an idea and watching it grow and blossom before my eyes. I also really appreciate and relish the pruning process - being able to trim and shape the project based on what the experience calls for, how the audience is responding, and what is actually possible given the available resources. That’s my practical, producorial side kicking in. Luckily, it’s all a package deal.
