About the Game

In Mordrün, 2–6 players step into the boots of strangers awakening in a desolate, sunless town with a vague amnesia—only to find the powerful Druid who summoned them murdered in the street. Beneath the looming threat of the bound dragon Ündreg and the rising dark spirit of Süntar, one player in your group is secretly the killer. Blending deduction, tactical grid combat, and hidden-role betrayal, Mordrün forces players to race against time: gather clues to solve the murder mystery, or eliminate the competition as the killer to silence the truth forever.

The gameplay engine merges classic deduction with volatile tabletop combat. On their turn, players maneuver through the town exploring buildings and gardens, performing Answer Investigations to narrow down the killer, weapon, and location, while braving traps, monsters, and player-driven interrupts. Every character possesses unique RPG-style combat stats for movement, defense, investigations, and attacks. Should your character fall, death is not the end: slain players immediately return as Ghosts, haunting rooms to block opponents' clues and unleashing cards from the Used Danger pile to manipulate the board from beyond the grave. Late to join players and players beyond 2 Characters may play as ghosts from the start or hop in mid-game.
