Hello,

for those that don't know my ‘insert philosophy’ - I am creating modular inserts that are focused on reducing setup and space on table, filament consumption is not my highest priority, but of course I'm trying to save some material where I can.

Update 07.02.2026 - version 2.1:
  • Added company holder for Japan.
  • Updated pictures and description.
  • There is place for one more company and maybe one more map, but I will probably need to redesign some files to fit tokens that may come with new map.
Update 27.09.2024 - version 2.0:
  • major redesign, all files replaced with new ones. Old files are in Version 1 folder,
  • 18 models resulting in 26 parts in old design vs 11 models resulting in 19 parts (25 if printing holders for 8 companies instead of 5). Insert simplified a lot, teardown should be a lot easier and faster,
  • around 604g on my current settings needed for 1st version vs 567g for 2nd version (724 if printing 8 company holders). Almost 40g lighter, which is not much, but on the other hand it supports all current content!
  • I combined multiple holders into larger ones, thanks to that it's much easier to put everything back into the box,
  • 2 box solution or 1 box with large lid lift (around 3cm) in 2nd version. 1st one was 1 box solution, but it didn't support fully new content, more below,
  • new version supports all current content, so also 5th player expansion, Duel and it fully supports Colorado and Geological Factor.
Important Notes:
  • This insert is a 2 box storage solution or 1 box with large lid lift (around 3cm). It fits all current content and possibly new one (1 more company and possibly new map, for it though I will need to redesign some components if it will come with new tokens). Only thing that doesn't fit - 3d map, although I'm not considering it as a part of ALL IN,
  • I've put base of the main box to the lid of expansion and base of expansion with boards and instructions on top of base of main box, that way it is “extended” one box,
  • If you don't have 5th player expansion and Duel and don't plan to buy new companies, 1st version may be better as it's one box storage solution, although teardown is a nightmare.
Supports:
  • vertical storage ,
  • The Nile Affair expansion ,
  • Project Leeghwater expansion,
  • Colorado expansion,
  • 5th player expansion,
  • Far Companies expansion,
  • double-layered buildings boards,
  • Wooden Wheels (if you have normal wheels you will need to add / print some kind of spacer, because tokens below (in setup holder) will be loose. If you're a club member and are interested in spacer but don't know how to design it - leave a comment, I will add it),
  • Geological Factor,
  • Metal Coins,
  • Promo Officers A,B,C,D,E
  • possibly new announced board, although without space for tokens (there is a space for plastic bags with tokens, I will probably update the insert to include space for new board tokens when the new board will arrive). It may create a small lid lift in one of the boxes or enlarge lid lift if you're storing everything in 1 box).
This insert features:
  • company holder - space for 8 companies, everything related to company, so buildings, workers, tiles and other tokens stored in 1 holder. Without printing 8 company holders some of the holders will be loose, so you may want to add some kind of spacer (If club member asks - I can add printable spacer),
  • separate holders for advanced technology tiles, contracts, external work tiles - so you only need to take it out, remove cover and place on the board, without the need to sort them,
  • holder for resources, coins, water drops - resources and coins/water drops are in combined holder, unfortunately I needed to save space, so there are no compartments. I think it's a better solution than having separate compartments with minimal space, it's much easier to take and put coins, resources back,
  • 2 holders for setup components - for all of the tokens needed during setup.
Requirements:
  • about 680g of filament (depends on your settings, I printed with 12% gyroid infill, 2 walls, 4 top and 3 bottom layers, 0.42 line width). If you decide to print 8 company holders it will take about 735g.
  • at least 183mm x 144mm print bed.
Instructions:

Supports - no supports required.

  • every file ended with xX (for example x16) - print X times (in given example - 16 times),
  • refer to pictures how to organize the box,
  • spacers, cards dividers - if there are any in this insert - I printed them with 4 walls, no top, bottom, honeycomb infill.
  • joints - if there are any joints in this insert - you will need to slowly put one joint over the hole in the second part for it, second under, third over and so on. You don't need to use glue here, although it will strengthen the part a bit (I didn't).

##

What future holds:
  • I will probably update the insert when new board comes up (hopefully it will be last expansion :D),
  • I may include space for new executive officers (if there will be new officers), but I will need to redesign everything once again, so I don't know if I want to do that. That however will only happen when the new board arrives,
  • I will add wheels spacer / holder for normal (cardboard) wheels if club member asks,

Enjoy!
