Voidfall insert - retail version

Voidfall is one of my favorite games of all time. I received the Galactic Box during fulfillment of the campaign, but wanted a more “portable” version to take with me to cons or game night. This project has taken a long time to get to the finish line as I wanted to incorporate the triple layer player boards into it. As a result, the full insert has a hefty amount of lift. I know it can be worrisome for lift to cause damage to the box or leave the game unsupported as a result, so I made sure to stress test it before releasing the files :). Please see picture 16.

If you don't have the triple layer player boards, I have created a variant that lowers the overall lift but still maintains the rest of the insert--a few pieces have height adjustments but otherwise perform the same function.

In this I have also included a set of rails and mini euro card holders that make it easier to view and pass the techs on offer. The holders themselves tilt forward and backward to allow for easier viewing of each row, and the rails have a ledge on which to sit the Round 1 Advanced Tech “unavailable” token. I glued all 4 of mine together, but feel free to choose any configuration that makes sense for your table.

The player trays contain all components for setup, as well as a cube cubby that slots directly onto the triple layer boards.

As I play mostly solo, the Crisis tray has a number of different slots to allow for vertical deck management, discard areas, etc as you see fit.

The large tray that holds Faction mats, Galactic Board, and the triple layer player boards is a single file printed x2 and glued together.

The token drawers contains spaces for the stock ships and glory tokens, with one glory token slot containing the “Xtras” that don't fit into the numbered slots. The hold on the top of the drawer denotes the opening, be sure to hold this end up while handling it!
