Stone Age organizers, V.2
Organizers for Stone Age base board game, version 2. Quick game set up and comfort during the play. Sliding lids prevent components from falling out during the storage. Theme reliefs and cutouts decorate organizers.
The set contains: Resources organizer, Players' component organizer, Building organizer, Card tray and Dice&Tool organizer.
1. **RESOURCES ORGANIZER**: All types of resources are accommodated here in separate sections. Rounded bottom facilitates the draw. 2 of such organizers should be 3d printed, so they can be placed on 2 sides of the table. Thus all players reach for components easily. Reliefs and cutouts on the lid are based on types of resources in the game.
*In [version 1](https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/stone-age-organizers) I tried to organize resources directly on the board - as they are supposed to, according to the rule book. After several plays me and my friends have come to conclusion that, unfortunately, it doesn't work for us so well. Even if containers were short, they still blocked view a little too much. So now we simply keep organizers next to the board. In this version 2 resources organizers have simpler shape, so there's no problem with designing a sliding lid.*
2. **PLAYERS' COMPONENT ORGANIZER**: There is a small organizer for components in each color. Workers are divided in 2 groups of 5. This reminds players that they have 5 starting workers in the game set up. Just grab one row of meeples and place them on your player board and the other group - on the main board. 2 wooden cubes are kept in a comfortable section with rounded bottom. 4 Small Player's component organizers are stored in a collective container. A common lid prevent all components from falling out during the storage. Theme reliefs and cutouts are related to drawings on the card (people in the boat) and to paintings from Lascaux cave (hunters and animals).
3. **BUILDING ORGANIZER**: This organizer serves as a Building tile storage and as a Building display tray during the play in the same time. It's shorter than the space on the game board, but it fits well. All tiles are kept firmly and the piles don't slide down. Indentations facilitate taking tile out.
4. **CARD TRAY**: It serves as a storage for cards and as a tray during the play. Sloped bottom and indentations facilitate the draw. The lid prevents cards from falling out during the storage.
*It is adjusted for cards without sleeves. Still, there's some room around. If you use sleeved cards that don't fit in this tray, please, let me know, so I can adjust it according to your measurements.*
5. **DICE&TOOL ORGANIZER**: All other components are gathered here: dice, tools and first player marker. Dice are kept in the section with rounded bottom, so it's easy to take them out. On top, the first player marker is stored. A 3d printed holder for the 1st player tile (also available in this set) serves much better than cardboard supports. There is a dedicated holder for Tool tiles. Posts prevent piles from sliding down. The holder fits the corresponding spot on the game board.
All organizers fit the game box and provide quick game setup. Reaching for the components during the game is very comfortable.
