Ticket to Ride America Train Organizer

An improved version of the organiser by @bencolt45

The trays are designed to stack on top of each other in the sections in the box already provided so that they reach just below the placement of the folded-up game board and the print-in-place hinged tab makes it easy to pull the trains out. You can also flip the tab down and set these trays in front of you to use while you play!

I had some issues printing Bens design in PLA+ and wanted to make some enhancements

I improved the trays so that:

• new train attachment shape for easier use with PLA
• trains don't touch at the ends
• fixed some misalignments
• reduced hinge sticking
• tapered the handle so it doesn't rub against the sides
• new train layout on the bottom layer
• the top tray and middle tray can now be the same!
• all trays have the same footprint
• they can now fit sideways in some ticket to ride boxes for extra space

Print one bottom layer for each colour train, then 2 of the middle tray.

When done you should have:

• 5x bottom trays
• 10x middle trays

Fill 2 middle trays with trains and place on top of the bottom tray with the bottom handle poking through the middle hole.

Depending on how you slice the models there can be bridging between the two sides of the train inserts, use a scraper or thin object to make sure the two are separated

Prints in photos were made on an Ankermake M5 in white PLA+, 10% infill, 0.2mm layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle.

My modified blender files included with additional train plugs that I tested, they're dynamically linked so you should only need to adjust a single object to modify all meshes.
