Ticket to Ride Göteborg game pieces

The fan made Ticket to Ride expansion Göteborg, Knô daj in, has gone through several iterations and now consists of the board, all cards and even a box to store everything in. Still no game pieces though… There are a few variants available already, but here's my take.

This set contains 5 different kinds of trams, 3 types of stations and 1 type of point marker.

All the trams and the stations are loosely based on/inspired by real trams and places in Gothenburg.

M1 - This is the oldest electrical tram type in the city (1902), still operational (although only by the Tramway museum, Ringlinien ).

M29 - This is the oldest tram (ca 1970) still operational in regular traffic. This model can also be considered to represent an M25 or M28, since they all look very similar.

M31 - The first tram in Gothenburg to have a part with low flooring for easy access. Rebuilt from M21 (built in the late 80s) around year 2000.

M32 - The Italian tram. Built in the late 00s and is a type of tram a lot of people have opinions about.

M33 - The latest addition to the Gothenburg tram fleet. Built about 2020 (at the time of writing this, still being delivered). This model can also be considered to represent the M34, the longer version of the M33.

Hållplatskur - This is the regular windbreak you'll find at almost every tram stop in the whole of Gothenburg.

Roddföreningen - This is a special windbreak that can only be found at the tram stop Roddföreningen. Looks like a small wooden pagoda.

Vagnhallen Majorna - The oldest of the tram depots, in use since 1921.

Not much to say about these, it's the Västtrafik logo (the company running public transports in this part of the country). Very much suited for a colour change, as seen in the attached photos.

Designed to be printed in PLA with:

• 0.4 mm nozzle
• 0.2 mm layer height
• 2 perimeters
• 5% lightning infill (for Prusaslicer, your slicer of choice might have something similar)
• No supports.

The bottom can be set to 2 layers without issues, but it might be a good idea to set the number of top layers to 4. This is mainly to make sure that the M31 model has a nice looking top layer, since it can have some issues getting the bridge infill layer to print properly.

Should be printed with as little infill as possible, to keep the pieces light and the amount of plastic used to a minimum.

You might need a brim on some of the pieces to help them stick to the print surface. On my textured PEI sheet I had no problems with bed adhesion, but of course your results may vary. I'm sure you know what works best with your printer.
