Larger Interior, designed for Yahtzee - storage space for dice and tower, scorecard and pencil. Both a blank version and one with the Yahtzee logo are included in the profile. The cover on this version latches shut. The fit is quite tight, so I'd recommend gluing the bottom of the pages down, then filing or sanding down the nubby bits for the cover until it's to your liking.

Designer's Description

I originally designed this to work as storage and a dice tray for my Folding Collapsible Dice Tower , but it works great for any valuables, secrets, or treats you might want to store!

Key Features
  • Fully 3d-printable - no supports, no additional materials required
  • Opens fully - 3-hinge folding mechanism keeps hinges hidden from the binding
  • No AMS required for multi-color book (only for text)
Style Options
  • Etched Text (no AMS version) - For fast printing, the ‘etched out’ text saves on filament waste and makes for a clean, minimal look.
  • Color Text (AMS) - Filled-in text with a color of your choice really brings this book to life.

Standard/Placeholder Text: The title currently on the front and the spine reads “A Treatise on the Science of Chance”.

How to Edit the Title
  • Open the model in Bambu Studio.
  • Toggle the “Global/Objects” switch to Objects.
  • Expand the dropdown options for each plate until you see parts with names that begin with “edit_”.

From here you are able to change the color on the color option.

  • Right-click on these parts and select Edit Text (make sure you are on the Prepare tab).

From here you are able to change the size, font, and location.

Note: To change the font, make sure you have it downloaded to your system's font library.

I used Georgia for the titles on these books.

Additional Note: If you're looking to remove my logo (‘publisher mark’) from the spine, just download the color version and change the color to the same one as the binding.

Assembly

As easy as 1, 2, 3, 4 --everything snaps together!

1. Slide the top into the groove of the bottom and pull upward.

2. Flip the top open to hold it in place.

3. Slide the ‘pages’ in under the top.

4. Push down on the pages until they snap into place.

Design Considerations
  • I haven't seen too many fake books that I've really liked. I wanted to make sure I didn't see the hinges from the binding.
  • The size is just small enough to fit on the P1S/X1C, while still comfortably holding the dice tower. I have not attempted to print smaller versions as of yet.
  • The folding parts of the top are designed to allow it to open fully, but without showcasing the hinges from the spine.

Note: It's important to make sure printer is calibrated to ensure the pages snap in correctly. Most people don't have any issues but they could go in slightly tight/loose depending on your printer.
