HeroQuest Modular War Fog

Bring a true "Fog of War" experience to your HeroQuest games with this modular room coverage system.

Fog HeroQuest is designed to hide rooms and areas of the board until they are discovered by the heroes. As doors are opened and new areas become visible, the room coverings can be removed, revealing the dungeon and increasing suspense, surprise, and immersion as you explore.

The modular design allows the system to be easily adapted to different board configurations, making it perfect for both the base game and custom expansions and missions.

To better distinguish different settings and scenarios, I made the model in two colors. This solution allows you to quickly identify areas belonging to different campaigns or expansions, while maintaining the surprise effect typical of the Fog of War.

To obtain the best aesthetic result, I recommend the use of a textured plate. The texture transferred to the first layer gives the room covers a particular visual effect that recalls stone, fog or rocky surfaces, integrating perfectly with the fantasy atmosphere of HeroQuest.

Usage

Place room covers on rooms before the quest begins. When heroes discover a new area, simply remove the corresponding module to reveal the room below.

A simple but effective accessory to increase tension, preserve quest surprises and make each dungeon exploration even more immersive.

Porta nelle tue partite di HeroQuest una vera esperienza "Fog of War" con questo sistema modulare di copertura delle stanze.

Fog HeroQuest è stato progettato per nascondere le stanze e le aree del tabellone fino a quando non vengono scoperte dagli eroi. Man mano che le porte vengono aperte e nuove zone diventano visibili, i copristanze possono essere rimossi, rivelando il dungeon e aumentando suspense, sorpresa e coinvolgimento durante l'esplorazione.

Il design modulare permette di adattare facilmente il sistema a diverse configurazioni del tabellone, risultando perfetto sia per il gioco base che per le espansioni e le missioni personalizzate.

Per distinguere meglio ambientazioni e scenari differenti, ho realizzato il modello in due colori. Questa soluzione permette di identificare rapidamente le aree appartenenti a campagne o espansioni diverse, mantenendo al tempo stesso l'effetto sorpresa tipico del Fog of War.

Per ottenere il miglior risultato estetico consiglio l'utilizzo di un piatto texturizzato. La texture trasferita sul primo layer dona ai copristanze un effetto visivo particolare che richiama pietra, nebbia o superfici rocciose, integrandosi perfettamente con l'atmosfera fantasy di HeroQuest.

Utilizzo

Posiziona i copristanze sulle stanze prima dell'inizio della missione. Quando gli eroi scoprono una nuova area, rimuovi semplicemente il modulo corrispondente per rivelare la stanza sottostante.

Un accessorio semplice ma efficace per aumentare la tensione, preservare le sorprese delle missioni e rendere ogni esplorazione del dungeon ancora più coinvolgente.
