Designer's Description

This is my take on a box insert and organization system for the board game Kavango . To replicate what you see in my photos, print one of everything except for the player boxes. Anything with “spacer” in the model name does not need to leave the box, everything else goes right on the table during setup.

My design goal for game inserts is to speed up setup/teardown time and make the game more functional on the table. The box for this game is quite big compared to the components (probably due to the original cardboard trays for the cards) so I ended up needing a few non-functional spacers, primarily for the score holder as I couldn't find anything more useful to do with that space.

You will need 40 5x2 magnets for the player boxes. I also several of the same-sized magnets to help keep a few pieces aligned, but more importantly to help remember where everything goes. Magnets for the spacer alignment are totally optional--if anyone is interested in STLs without holes for the alignment magnets, just ask and I'll upload!
