Designer's Description

Moonrakers is a great game by IV Studio!

If you own Moonrakers: Titan and have your cards sleeved, like me, you probably noticed that taking action cards in and out of the removable tray is a bit cumbersome, since due to the additional volume of the sleeves, there's almost no space remaining to allow us to see the dividers between the card types. Even worse, if you happen to have the Dark Matter micro-expansion, as there isn't a dedicated spot for them!
Boost Me I enjoy making custom board game inserts and other cool upgrades, but this takes time and money. A little boost would help me cover the costs for filament and other printer consumables needed to test the prints thoroughly. Thank you!

Solution

To solve that, I did these action card dividers. They fit just right in the tray, and can also be stored in the Titan box without being removed!

For the ones that have variations (Damage cards, and advanced action cards), they have tabs on top with the variation symbol, and they were all distributed to fit the available space between the grooves of the tokens tray that sit above in the box.

Printing Considerations

The dividers are sorted in plates by color, so you can print them without a AMS.

It is recommended to print with a Smooth PEI Plate to minimize friction in the cards, and avoid any adhesion issues in the small details of the symbols.

Additionally, the dividers are oriented in -45° so the layer orientation in them are upright, to further minimize friction.

The following settings were modified from the default 0.20mm preset to ensure all the little details are printed without artifacts or failures:

  • Quality:
  • Order of walls: O uter/Inner
  • Speed:
  • Initial layer and outer walls: 20mm/s
  • Inner walls: 50mm/s
  • Internal solid infill and top surface: 100mm/s
  • Other:
  • Print sequence: B y Object

Due to the small thickness of the dividers, it is recommended to let them cool down before removing from the build plate to ensure they keep a flat surface and don't become warped in the process.

Thanks! Enjoy
