Cubaneo (2026) - Board Game Insert

Cubaneo (2026) revisits the classic Cuba, integrating the El Presidente expansion into the core game alongside revised buildings, an updated rulebook, and several rule adjustments.

The six storage boxes included with the game are beautifully printed, but getting everything onto the table can take some work. I designed this insert to keep the tiles arranged between games and give each player’s starting components their own space.

The building tile trays go straight from the box to the table, with all 30 tiles already laid out. Each player also gets a dedicated box for their starting cards and tokens — just hand them out and get ready to play.

My game board, player boards, and tiles are covered in protective plastic wrap. The tile trays therefore have a little extra clearance to accommodate the wrapping and make the tiles easier to insert and remove without damaging their edges.
