Russian Railroads Buffer Stop

Plan Your Print
Covers Russian Railroads: American Railroads, Russian Railroads: German Railroads Expansions this print stores alongside the base game
Designer's Description

The game Russian Railroads uses track pieces to indicate how far you've progressed along a path. While those are good, the end shouldn't be an empty piece of track, but a railroad "buffer stop" where rail cars are prevented from going further.

This is a custom piece designed for FDM printers to simulate a buffer stop that can be used in the Russian Railroads game. It was designed to be printed on the short side so that you can use a filament swap near the top to make the ends print in a silver/metal color (see pictures).

Inspired by I decided to try my hand at creating a buffer stop marker designed for FDM printing. Here's my go: If you try it out let me know how it goes. I have lent my copy of Russian Railroads right now so I haven't printed or checked for accuracy. It's designed to be 16mm wide, so may need to be printed a little smaller. I'll check once I have the game back.
