Full box width for the cards holder, made to fit the whole box, in order to fit all project cards including expansions plus promo cards, sleeved. This is 288mm total (box is 290mm) and split into two parts, connected with dovetail connector from Bambu Studio. There are connectors on both the sides plus the bottom, so that it is rigid in all directions. The tolerance of the dovetail is 0.20mm in order to be able to assemble it more easily. If you want to adjust the tolerance, the way I did the cuts is by importing the STL in a plate, centering and cutting it once in one axis, then importing again, centering and cutting in the other axis, and then taking both parts of each side in a separate plate. For the female side, I would center both versions, assemble and intersect them, and for the male side, center assemble and union. Fix model may be required after each cut. I printed mine if a BL PLA matte dark blue, and I found the tolerances pretty good. Could have used maybe slightly smaller, e.g. 0.15mm, but overall pretty happy.

Designer's Description

I present my insert/organizer for the boardgame Terraforming Mars. This is for the base game, although accommodates sleeved cards and a print out of the 3d tile set that can be found HERE

It's an older game with a lot of organizers out there already, but what can I say? I enjoy making board game organizers, and especially like making a tightly packed design where everything fits together snuggly. The components on their own don't take up that much space, so I took advantage to provide 4 bins for the 3d printable tile set that XmonikerX made.

Main cards are stacked in the big card box. The corporation and other misc cards are in the smaller holder that can be left in the box. There's a place to store the old cardboard tiles, so if you use the 3d printed set or not, there's still that tidy option to store them. 5 Player game, but 6 of the player sized trays. The 6th one would be used for the 3 progress markers and the first player token. For the 3d printed tile set, there's 4 bins in total. 2 for the forest and cities, 1 for the special tiles, and 1 for the water tiles. The special tiles and water tiles stack. Lastly the money tray! Make sure all the cubes are sitting flat, as the height is just enough, but it all should fit fine!
