Railroad Tiles Retail + Expansion Single Box Insert Storage
Update Sep 13 2025: Added a half height large bin so I can stack the point tokens, and maybe the base pinpoint tokens so I can jam in more tiles!
The goal is simple shove as much in the base retail box as possible for those mixing and matching expansions and I think I'm on to something. Taking inspiration from GridFinity I wanted a modular storage solutions. Looks like you can fit Base + Worlds + 1 Expansion no problem, a second expansion may need some stacking ontop of tiles.
You print 4x the Base Container I tried to get 5 to fit but couldn't so the boxes can go in the last section and they can go in the empty spaces depending on your expansion count. (I just uploaded an alternative base container to fit 5 columns of tiles and boxes) Note the box is 1mm longer on one side!
You place all your tiles in these, you can separate them with the Divider.stl I suggest you print this in the expansion bags colour
To make playing the game easier, I also include a cube that you should print to show how many base tiles to place in each column, the rest would be expansion tiles all of them use 8 base 6 expansion.
Each expansion will need at least 1x Bin Large.stl
Base game needs 9x Bin Large (I've included Bin Small if you find it too big I have fat fingers)
For Base
4x the Base Container
8x Bin Large
1x Bin Small (20s) (Currently testing if star tokens will fit in small)
