There were 2 spacer STLs added to the project at a later date, but they were not included in the main print profile, so I'm uploading them as a separate profile. Setting are the same as in the main profile for the insert: 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill.

Designer's Description

This is my take on an insert for Nucleum. The game has a ton of components and little pieces to keep track of, and my goal is always to get the game tabled and put away as easily and quickly as possible. The prints shown were done with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2 layer height, 15% infill and no supports required. Bambu slicer estimates total filament at 657g / 216.55m. Vertical storage is supported as well.

The game has a few promos available (though currently out of stock as of this publishing date), and while I do not have them I was kindly assisted by @Sgallmeier_1110492 who provided measurements and even tested some prints for me, so a huge thank you to him!

Edit 12/21: added a spacer that can be printed to better secure the player components during vertical storage. These will still hold power plants without issue. Print x2 for full coverage.

Edit 12/28: slightly increased the size of the milestone area to prevent stuck tiles

A couple of quick notes:

  • The contracts and action tiles tray are meant to be placed directly on the game board for ease of setup. Simply remove/shuffle any pieces not needed based on player count.
  • The setup component tray and reference/setup card tray nest together. With my tolerances they fit snugly enough that I can lift both out of the box by only grabbing the top (setup) tray.
  • See the edited photos for first player token slot, as well as promo component placement
  • There are small nubs on the contract and player trays to help keep the power plants in place. These are not necessary for horizontal storage, but assist with keeping the tiles underneath in place during vertical storage.
  • The card slots accommodate sleeves cards, Sleeve Kings pictured.

You will need:

4x player trays, 1x resource tray full or 2x resource tray half, and 1 of everything else

Happy printing!
