Designer's Description

This is an insert for Mindclash Games' Revenant, set in the Voidfall universe. The goal is to get you setup for play as quickly as possible, and trays are designed to either be placed directly on the table or keep certain game components together to minimize searching for stuff.

While I have the Admiral Edition that comes with ship miniatures, the standard/retail box apparently shares the same footprint but is approx 30mm shallower. With that in mind, I designed the miniatures trays to take up exactly 30mm of depth in the bottom of the box, so if you have the non-minis version, simply ignore those trays and the rest of the insert should work for your components. EDIT: the retail box appears to be 40mm shallower, so if printing this insert you will have 10mm of lift due to the height of the cards and trays.

✅ Sleeved cards - GameGenic Matte shown (100u)

✅ Vertical storage

✅ No lift

✅ Faith and Reason expansions

Notes:

The scanner trays contain slots for setup components. This includes a Solo tray , Sequence board components/cards , and Objectives . These trays also separate scanner cards by player count on one side, while the other side can be used in-game for era/round display and have a rail for displaying the current scanner cards.

The Influence tray can be tedious to setup, so to make this faster I have player components and resources already sequestered and ready to go. Also included is a slot to hold 16mm dice, as I actually prefer to use these instead of the voidborn ship minis/tokens (see picture 16). For me it makes the board state easier to parse.

The player boards and individual components are kept together, with a separate tray holding voidborn ship tokens and corruption. This can be printed as a single piece with individual trays for those with 340mm beds, or as split files for 256mm beds.

Expansion components are kept in their own tray and scaffolded together with 2 Secret Influence deck holder s. Also included are a small solo card randomizer (print 7!) to help with mixing up houses for solo play, as sleeved cards are difficult to get into the included envelopes.

The Operations card tray can be placed directly from box to table.

If you print this for the standard game version, let me know how it goes!

This insert is designed mainly for the Admiral edition with the ship minis, however the Captain box is said to have the same footprint but different depth than the Admiral box. With that in mind, I designed the miniatures trays to take up exactly 30mm of depth in the bottom of the box, so if you have the non-minis version, simply ignore those trays and the rest of the insert should work for your components! The files have been uploaded for free on Makerworld: Cards are sleeved with 100u, it supports vertical storage, and there is no lid lift. Please see the link for organization and further details!
