Designer's Description

Sankore is a medium-heavy euro that doesn't get enough love. One of the challenges of getting it to the table is the long setup, which I have attempted to minimize as much as possible here.

✅ Sleeved cards

✅ No lift

✅ Vertical Storage

✅ Less hair pulling

✅ Built in funnels!

Setup tray - each class has a total of 6 Prestige tokens that get sorted into their respectives areas each game. These, along with 1 book of each color, is pre-separated for easy access. The Mathematics Sankore Tiles are also held separate from the other tiles, which get randomized and placed on the board.

Remaining books, prestige tokens, and meeples all have a dedicated tray with funnel to help get them into the bag for randomization.

The advanced class tiles are separated by level, with a display area for the Tier 1 and 2 tiles during gameplay.

Graduation tiles are pre-sorted and can be placed directly on the board.

Skill token tray can be placed directly on the table.

Favour tokens can be kept either with the player trays or in the dedicated box.

Each player token type is housed in a scaffold that can be placed directly onto the player board. #1-4 have a hole in the bottom (showing the number on the player board) as a reminder to add that strength to your class action.

One thing to note about organizing this back into the box – the box dimensions are not a perfect square. The player boards sit next to the 2 / 3 player student tiles during storage, but if it feels too tight like you're having to squeeze them together, turn the box 90 degrees and try again. Then continue placing the remaining trays in.

Enjoy!
