Designer's Description

This is an insert / organizer for Furnace with the Interbellum expansion. It all fits in the base box, has no lid lift, supports premium sleeves on the cards (Dragon Shield matte sleeves shown in the images), supports vertical storage, and was designed to aid setup and teardown. Here are some features of the insert.

  • Two of each of the primary in-game trays (one for each end of the table), which hold the resources, money, multiplier tokens, and upgrade tokens.
  • Card tray with slots for:
  • Capitalists
  • Start-Up Cards
  • Agents
  • Business School Cards
  • Base Game Companies
  • Interbellum Companies
  • Five individual player trays, which hold the variable capital discs, value 1-4 discs, and player color tokens. Each is a unique tray with a custom-shaped location for the player color token.
  • Shakable draw cup for holding the manager tokens. Place the tokens in the cup, shake it, and draw what you need. No need to carefully prepare a stack of manager tokens to draw from during the game.
  • Setup tray that holds the round tracker, first player token, personal manager token for use with the capitalist who requires it, die, and neutral-color capital disc.
  • Two trays for holding spare components.

To achieve the insert as shown, print two of the Option 1 resource/money token trays and one of everything else. If you prefer to have the money separated from the resources, I also provided files with “Option 2” in their name. Print two of each of those instead of the Option 1 file. Option 1 provides a bit more room than Option 2.

The images show how to layer everything in the box, as well as providing closer images of some of the trays.

I have included the original OpenSCAD files in case anyone wants to improve on the design.
