Designer's Description

Hex Token Cup – Update to Mark II verison

This model has been updated so it now matches the magnetized version, which can be found here:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/2211268-magnetized-board-game-token-cups#profileId-2403848

The shape, proportions, and overall feel are the same. The only difference is the magnets. If you don’t want to install magnets, you can use this version. Both can sit next to each other without looking different.

Changes made:

  • Top edges have been softened. The previous version felt too sharp.
  • Interior walls now have a slight draft. Tokens are easier to pick up.
  • Print profile updated with adaptive layers (Quality + Smoothness). The rounded bottom prints cleaner and smoother.
  • The full cup now has a wider bottom fillet for better access.
  • Added two new versions with built-in partitions (2 and 3 sections).
  • Added separate partition inserts compatible with the full cup. They work well, though the transition near the partition walls is slightly less smooth than the integrated versions.

If you prefer interlocking trays and side connections, take a look at the magnetized version. It uses hidden magnets to link cups together while keeping the same overall design.

If you like what you see , there are two ways you can help me make more designs.

An easy way is to boost me through Makerworld. Another way to help out is to (via Ko-Fi).
Boost Me If you print any of these and they work well for you, a boost on MakerWorld is a great way to show it. Boosts earn me points I can put toward filament, materials, and parts, which matters more than it sounds. Every design here went through multiple prints before I was happy with it. Either way, happy printing.
