Lords of Waterdeep Complete Organiser
This is an organiser for Lords of Waterdeep and the Scoundrels of Skullport expansion that fits everything in the main Lords of Waterdeep box. I was frustrated with the included insert that would end up with pieces all over the place during transport and if not kept completely flat. It's a top 10 game for me so I had to make my own. This insert is designed to allow the game to be stored on it's side or end and be transported with everything safely remaining in place.
The insert measures 351 L x 276 W x 70.6 H mm . Many printers don't have the required build volume for this (including mine) this so I have included a 2-piece version which can be printed on bed sizes of 300 x 300 mm. There is a sub-tray that holds the player mats and expansion boards which is held to the main tray by magnets. It acts as a lid for all of the cubes, meeples, coins, etc. Each of the these token trays can be placed straight on the table for easy game setup and packing away. I think the bit trays are large enough to fit in the various deluxe components that I see some people use.
Print the following:
- 1x 1-Piece Tray _OR_ 1x 2-Piece Tray - Upper and 1x 2-Piece Tray - Lower.
- 1x Sub-Tray
- 6x Bit Tray (orange, black, white, purple, red and dark blue)
- 1x Coin Tray
- 6x Player Tray (red, light blue, green, yellow, black and light grey)
The organiser uses eight 6 mm diameter x 3 mm height cylindrical magnets. For me I simply push the magnets into place in with my palm pressing down on the flat side of a butter knife and no glue is required.
Printed with PLA at 0.2mm layer thicknes. No supports required. I used 10% rectilinear (aka lines) infill. I don't recommend lightning infill as it will make it difficult to insert the magnets without breaking the insert. If you are smart, you could just maybe use rectilinear infill above, below and around the magnets.
