Designer's Description
This insert lets you organize the boardgame Coffee Rush and its expansion Piece of Cake in the base game box, with no lid lift, making the setup faster and easier.
Components:
- Player Box: made to hold the cups, the meeples and the upgrade tiles. Give one to each player and forget about it.
- Card holder: fits sleeved cards. Holds base game, expansion and promo cards. Has a pocket for Starting Player Token and a side holder for removed cards. It's also useful during game play ( see explanation below ).
- Ingredients Tray: holds all ingredients conveniently in a single piece and also keeps your Rush Tokens handy. It also includes a cover to protect against spillage if needed (vertical storage), or you could also put the cakes on top and ingredients on bottom and there is no spillage of components.
- Cake Tray: holds all the cakes from the Piece of Cake expansion.
- Extra Coffee Trays: an extra piece to put your cups while preparing your orders. Looks cute when playing, helps locate your cups faster haha.
- Spacers A-B: need them to keep everything leveled in the box. Print and use them as follows:
- If you want to store both sets of player boards in the box, you only need 1 spacer (labeled spacer A ). Print this spacer once and set it under the Cake Tray. - This is the configuration I prefer and use, as shown in the pics.-
- On the other hand, if you don't intend to keep both sets of player boards , you will need 3 spacers to keep all leveled in the box. Print Spacer A one time and set it as described in option 1, and then print Spacer B two times for this setup and place them under the Player Boxes. (They now replace the player boards that go here).
So to keep it simple:
8 player boards in the box? Print only spacer A one time.
4 player boards in the box? Print spacer A one time and Spacer B two times.
The card holder keeps all tidy, but also works during gameplay!
When using the expansion or promo cards, you're always instructed to remove a certain number of cards from the deck, and then add the expansion/promo cards. There is a side holder for these removed cards . This way you can use the card holder as a deck pile and a discard pile during the game.
