Designer's Description

This is a customized insert made for Zombicide: White Death (retail edition) that allows to store all of the following games together:

  • Zombicide: White Death (2025) base game
  • Zombicide: Crossfire Pack (2025)
  • Zombicide: Climbers & Terrorcotta Walkers (2025)
  • Zombicide: Divine Beasts Abomination Pack (2025)

All zombies, heroes, bosses, cards, tokens and player tableaus are stored into the base game box. Maps could also be stored in the box with a significant lid lift ( see further details below ), in my case I store the maps into the aditional box that came in the base game together with 3d printed tiles/buildings that are used during game play. You can check out my insert for that here .

Now, regarding the insert, these are all the components:

  • Hero storage: where heroes rest in your box, you only need 1 rack of heroes for the base game ones.
  • Guards storage: guards need a place too. These are 4x3 racks, 4 rows for 3 guards each. You need 1 rack for the base game guards and 1 rack for the Crossfire Pack guards.
  • Zombie storage: every zombie has its place. Base game zombies are separated from expansions for easier identyfing, but you can store them however you like. There are 2 different rack sizes:
  • Zombie 6x5 rack: 6 rows that fit 5 zombies each (it fits more, but to keep each zombie class separated, it's been labeled this way). You need 2 racks for the base game zombies and 1 rack for the Climbers and Terracota Walkers expansion. PS: for the zombies which have 7 minis, store what fits into a single row, then the rest in another. You get 2 mixed rows of zombies, not too much trouble.
  • Zombie 4x5 rack: 4 rows that fit 5 zombies each (same concept as before). You need 1 rack for the Crossfire Pack zombies. Guards are stored separatedly, as stated above.
  • Special Zombies storage: this is the one for the Abomination and the Necromancer. You only need 1 .
  • Divine Beasts storage: more storage for more bosses. The 3 "small" beasts go together in 1 rack ( 3xBeasts ), the "big" dragon one, goes by itself into another rack ( 1xBeasts ).
  • Card holders: each deck has its own holder - guards, equipment, zombies, special zombies and divine beasts - with dividers to keep things clean. The regular zombies card holder has modular dividers to use during gaming, in case you need to mix cards from different expansions together, totally optional. Made to fit sleeved cards . Note: card dividers may be a tight fit depending on tolerances. I recommend test prints at 100%, 98% and 97% to see which one fits better for you.
  • Various tokens: corruption has its own storage, then the rest of the tokens go together in the "set up" tray. Neatly separated and ready to take out and play.
  • Dice box and player components: they go together in a drawer, separated by color.

Now a few notes:

Everthing listed fits inside the box, including manuals, with no lid lift. Now regarding maps, as stated above, they can be stored in the box causing aprox. a 17mm lid lift:

Also, there are 2 places where you need to be careful when storing the racks, mainly because minis overlap a little. They can be placed with no problems if angled correctly and in the correct order.

For the tiger/dragon, be sure to place the dragon first and then slide the tiger in place, in a little angle as to not to collide with the dragon storage.

For the abomination/zombie, first store the zombies in place. Then, with the Necromancer always on the bottom side, slide the abomination/necromancer storage in place. As you can see, the Abomination is upside down for a good fit.

Lastly, everything was printed without supports except for the Divine Beasts racks. They can be printed without supports but with a little sagging. For better aesthetics I do recommend supports for the Divine Beasts only.

Many tests were made to test the no-support print, and as you can see only the big beast storage has significant sagging, which is why I recommend supports for the Divine Beasts. All other components are safe with no supports.
The ultimate height test for sagging and stability of prints. A little wiggle at the end, still no sagging.
