Yes, you heard right, everything!
This is an insert for the Darwin's Journey Collector's Edition, which allows you to store the base game as well as the Oceania expansion, including all mini-expansions released to date (yes, all of them!) and deluxe items.
Some time ago, I created the insert for [Darwin's Journey Retail](https://cults3d.com/de/modell-3d/spiel/darwin-s-journey-expansions-insert-depan), which made it possible to store all mini-expansions released to date and the Fireland expansion in the retail box.
Since there is unfortunately no longer enough space in the retail box for Oceania, I got the Collector's Edition and have now designed an insert for all game content released to date.
**This includes the following:**
- Base game from the Collector's Edition
- Fireland expansion (from the Collector's Edition, which includes a double-sided game board for Fireland and the base game.
- Oceania expansion
- Pirates mini-expansion
- Darwin's Worker mini-expansion
- Falmouth Port mini-expansion
- Animal Companion mini-expansion
- Great Ship mini-expansion
- Scenarios mini-expansion
- Komodo Dragon mini-expansion
- Golden Tent mini-expansion
- All deluxe items such as metal coins, wooden lenses, wooden tokens, soft plastic wax seals, and dual-layer player boards
This includes all content released to date. As with my other inserts, I have not only focused on sorting the game content appropriately, but also on speeding up game setup, providing player trays to store all game content for the different players, and designing parts of the insert so that it can be used as a token reservoir or similar during the game.
**Overview of the insert's features:**
- No lid lift (packaging closes flush without a gap)
- Sleeved cards are supported
- Supports small print beds (e.g., A1 mini)
- No support required during printing
- Supports fast setup
- Some of the expansions are separated into their own trays so that expansions can be added modularly.
- Player trays for player materials with sorting and dividers for the different game pieces
- Parts of the insert can be used during the game
- Labels or matching images for the compartments of the trays so that the game contents can be sorted correctly
- An overlay for the museum and specimen tokens, which can also be used during the game and prevents the tokens from slipping.
- A 3mf file is provided with pre-colored trays
- Sorting instructions are included as a PDF (will be updated soon!)
**Printing time and filament consumption:**
The entire insert was printed with a Bambu P1S and takes about 1 day to print when printed in color. Without color, it should be significantly faster. The insert weighs approx. 700g and consumes ~780g for color printing.

**Printing instructions:**
The printer can use the default settings. No supports are necessary.
Trays that need to be printed twice typically end with an x2 for 2 prints, x3 for 3 prints, etc. For this insert, you must print all available inserts exactly ONCE and misc_and_speciment_tray_x2.stl and card_tray_x2.stl TWICE EACH (as indicated). Please do not confuse the two. Please make sure that you only specify the last number in the file name as the number of times the corresponding STL model must be printed (and the number is preceded by an x). Sometimes numbers are also somewhere in the middle of the file name, but these are only used to number the trays. For example, card_tray_x2.stl must be printed twice, whereas oceania_expansion_2_tray.stl only needs to be printed once.
For those who prefer the color scheme shown in the pictures, I have included the corresponding 3mf file, which has the coloring preconfigured.
